Lost in Strings July 30th Chamber Ensemble Workshop

Austin Strings is holding its summer workshop at the Bastrop Sound Sanctuary on July 30th!

Each piece has four parts ranging from beginner to advanced. You will get the whole piece for either Cello/Bass, Viola, or Violin and can choose which part you’d like to play. We encourage players of all levels and ages to join us!

9:30 - 10:00 Registration

10:00 - 10:30 Setup and Icebreaker

10:30 - 12:00 First Rehearsal

12:00 - 1:00 Lunch Break

1:00 - 2:30 Second Rehearsal

2:30 - 2:45 Break

2:45 - 3:30 Shifting Technique Workshop

3:30 - 4:00 Pot Luck Snack Break with Family

4:00 - 5:30 Final Rehearsal and Wrap up

Cost: $50 total for the whole day including lunch and snacks. You can pay in advance in person at Austin Strings or over the phone. We can also accept a check or cash during registration the day of the workshop.
