Lost in Strings Spring Ensemble Workshop - April 8th

Our spring Lost in Strings workshop will be held April 8th at the Bastrop Sound Sanctuary! We will also hold an optional performance April 9th at the same location. (Download Schedule Flyer)

We will be doing this as a round, it is very similar to this arrangement.

The arrangement we use will be very similar to Simon and Garfunkle's version.

Vivaldi Concerto for 2 cellos (Sounds like this)

Will likely be played a bit slower than this recording!

Schedule for the day:

10:00 - 10:30 Doors Open, Registration

10:30 - 12:00 First Rehearsal

12:00 - 1:00 Lunch Break

1:00 - 2:30 Second Rehearsal

2:30 - 3:00 Break

3:00 - 3:30 Key Sig Workshop

3:30 - 4:45 Final Rehearsal

4:45 - 5:00 Mini Performance

Each piece has four parts ranging from beginner to advanced. You will get the whole piece for either Cello, Viola, or Violin and can choose which part you’d like to play. We encourage players of all levels to join us!

$50 includes all day Workshop and Lunch!

**New Players: $150 for Workshop, 2 Intro Lessons, & One-Month Instrument Rental.

If this is your first time playing an instrument, we’d love to provide one for you! Set up a lesson beforehand; we’ll pick out an instrument then go over the basics of note-reading & position so you’ll be ready to participate!

We have discounts for family so everyone can attend together!
